Welcome to Antro ("the App"). The App is a personal application operated by Samson Canon ("I," "me," or "my"). I am committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a secure experience when using the App and its associated website.
This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, shared, and protected when you interact with the App. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information Collected
To provide you with personalized financial insights, organization, and interactive assistant capabilities, the App collects the following categories of data:
- Account Data: When you sign up, I collect your name, email address, and authentication data (such as login tokens or provider identifiers).
- Financial Data: This includes transactions, bills, wallet balances, income history, financial categories, and related insights that you manually enter or ask the assistant to record in the App.
- Chat and Interaction Data: I store messages you write to the AI assistant, the assistant's replies, and details extracted from bills or transaction descriptions to help answer your queries and maintain context.
- Voice Data: If you choose to use voice commands or chat via audio, the App collects the audio files you upload. These are transmitted for transcription, and the resulting text transcripts are stored to provide conversational financial services.
- Device and App Data: The App may collect basic diagnostics, application logs, security event logs, and usage analytics to maintain reliability and prevent abuse.
2. Financial Account Connections
The current App Store release does not connect to Gmail, bank accounts, or other third-party financial accounts. Financial records are created from information you enter manually, through text chat, or through optional voice input.
3. How Your Data Is Used
I use your personal and financial information for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the features of the AI financial assistant.
- To sync account data across your devices and generate cash-flow, recurring bill, and spending insights.
- To transcribe your voice commands and process text chat queries.
- To monitor, analyze, and improve the reliability and technical performance of the App.
- To prevent fraud, secure the platform, and prevent abuse or violations of the Terms of Use.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosures
I prioritize data privacy and do not sell your personal, financial, or behavioral data. Your information is shared only under the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: I work with third-party service providers who perform essential functions to help operate the App. These include hosting providers, database managers, authentication providers, AI and speech-to-text API services, and analytics platforms. These providers are bound by confidentiality and security terms.
- Legal Compliance: I may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government regulation, or if I believe in good faith that such action is necessary to protect the security and safety of users, the public, or the App.
5. Security of Your Information
I implement reasonable and appropriate technical and security safeguards to protect your personal and financial data. However, please be aware that no security measures are completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security for any data stored or transmitted online.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
I retain your information as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the App. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly through the Settings screen inside the mobile app.
Once initiated, I delete or permanently anonymize your account records, financial histories, chat histories, and settings from main databases, subject to any retention required for legal, regulatory, tax, or system backup purposes (which are securely archived and deleted in accordance with backup schedules).
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If I discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, I will delete it immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will notify you of changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date at the top. You are advised to check this page periodically to stay informed about how your data is protected.
